A rapidly expanding local courier company is seeking an independent contractor for a local delivery route from Santa Clarita, CA to Burbank, CA.
*Details:*
* The base schedule is Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am-1:00 pm
* The exact schedule may vary slightly based on client needs, and is subject to change frequently.
Applicants with flexible schedules will be prioritized
* The job will entail picking up and delivering small packages from *Santa Clarita, CA* to *Burbank, CA*
* Additional routes, jobs and opportunities available
*Requirements:*
* Candidate must be able to fully commit to the schedule and be flexible if more working hours are needed
* Reliable and fuel vehicle, valid driver’s license and smart phone are required
* *TWIC Card and/or STA number are required.
*If you do not have one currently, but are willing to obtain one immediately, you may be eligible for the position
* *Business License is required.
*If you do not have one currently, but are willing to obtain one immediately, you may be eligible for the position
* Candidate will be required to submit a motor vehicle report and may be subject to drug screening and background check
* Candidate must be able to navigate and work quickly
* Experience doing courier or delivery work is a plus
* Candidate must have *excellent communication skills* and be able to always answer the phone
* Great attention to detail is required
* Good attitude and reliability is required
* Professional appearance and demeanor is required
* Candidate must have the desire to grow with a rapidly expanding courier company
* *Candidate must be able to begin working immediately*
