*Position Summary:*
Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for daily deliveries to customers and intercompany transfers, performs any other warehouse work when deemed necessary and/or assigned by supervisor.
*Key Duties and Responsibilities: *
* Responsible for safely and timely delivering products to customers’ work sites and supporting the operation’s team with warehouse functions as needed.
*Critical Knowledge and Skills:*
* Excellent driving knowledge of the assigned route/s
* Clean driving record for a minimum of 3-5 years
* Excellent customer service skills
* Good interpersonal communication skills
* Self-starter who can work under minimal supervision
* Able to timely maintain all required DOT and documentation and/or logs, Cal OSHA, and OSHA safety requirements and inspections
* Active Medical Examiner’s Card, and an active Class B or Class A driver’s license
* Able to work a Monday-Friday work schedule and work weekends when needed
* Basic computer knowledge is preferred
* Able to lift, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Able to stoop, bend, twist and spend prolonged hours sitting and driving
* Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
* Safely drive under all types of driving conditions that can change based on weather conditions and/or traffic
* This job is designated a Safety Sensitive position per DOT regulations
*Education and Experience:*
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 - 5 years of driving experience driving under a Commercial Class B or A driver’s license
* Current and active forklift certification (sit down forklift) preferred
