Live in Companion/Caregiver/Driver
I am helping my dear friend Bob find just the right companion/caregiver.
About you: You are a mature, possibly recently retired woman who loves intellectual discussions and has an innate need to nurture.
You enjoy cooking and dining out and lean towards healthy but wonderfully delicious meals.
You are honest, trustworthy and a safe, licensed driver who could easily pass a background check.
You are open to chauffeuring and accompanying Bob to a wide variety of cultural, intellectual, entertainment and social gatherings--- as well as regular visits to the gym (where you can also work out).
You have your own life and interests but can be actively helpful without being overly obtrusive.
You are an emotionally grounded, physically, and mentally strong woman and a natural nurturer.
Let me tell you about Bob: He is one of the brightest, most broadly curious, and kindest souls I know.
He is socially conscious and always open to learning about new things.
He was recently widowed from a stable, loving decades-long marriage.
Bob is a highly vibrant individual in a body that is less so.
He seeks a mature woman who can provide personal care including dressing and clean-up.
Bob lives in a homey cottage on a quiet, tree-lined street in West Los Angeles that is a few minute’s drive to lovely cafes coffee shops, boutiques and grocery stores.
A housekeeper comes 3 times a week to keep the house tidy, and there is a regular gardener to maintain the outdoors.
A nearby Farmer’s Market every Sunday draws a large group of neighbors for a variety of organic vegetables, fish, fresh eggs, and prepared foods.
The ocean is less than 6 miles away, and hikes into the mountains are immediate.
This area is adjacent to Santa Monica.
Details on time off can be discussed with Bob.
Position offers $3000 month plus a shared home (with private bedroom), garden and all meals.
A car is also available.
The home includes a kitty cat.
