Here is what we are looking for in a Dispatcher:_ *Key Responsibilities:* *Customer Communication*: Answer incoming calls, emails, and messages from customers, providing information, scheduling appointments, and addressing customer concerns or issues.
Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are managed throughout the service process.
*Scheduling and Dispatching*: Schedule all plumbing services based on technician availability and customer preferences.
Coordinate with field technicians to assign service calls, dispatch work orders, and provide necessary information for service assignments.
Monitor the progress of service calls and dispatch technicians to additional jobs as needed to optimize scheduling and maximize efficiency.
Create & approve purchase orders as they are requested by the technicians.
Debrief with techs after completion of appointments to make sure everything is in order & sent to customer.
*Resource Management*: Maintain accurate records of technician schedules, work orders, and service assignments using scheduling software or dispatch systems.
Coordinate the allocation of resources, such as equipment, materials, and transportation, to support the completion of service calls in a timely manner.
*Problem Resolution*: Address any scheduling conflicts, delays, or emergencies that may arise during service calls, promptly communicating with customers and technicians to resolve issues and minimize disruptions.
Provide support and guidance to technicians in the field, assisting with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making as needed to ensure successful service delivery.
*Skills and Qualifications:* * *Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written* * *Strong organizational and multitasking abilities* * *Experience with Service Titan or similar software required* * *Knowledge of plumbing terminology, procedures, and equipment* * *Prior experience in customer service, dispatching, or a related field is preferred* * *Must be able to work the following shift: Wed-Sun 7AM-4PM/8AM-5PM* Please note that only qualified candidates will be contacted for further consideration.
