We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of receptionist in our office.
We are looking for a vibrant, motivated, and creative individual with the ability to multitask and who has a strong attention to detail.
This position requires analytical strength and the ability to work as part of a team.
3rd party healthcare knowledge and experience is a plus! Must have a vehicle and be willing to drive if necessary.
*Responsibilities include:*
* Intake of new referrals
* Assigning appropriate providers to each child
* Initial entry of accurate child records in database
* Verifying commercial insurance coverage and benefits
* Collects all necessary documents from families
* Initial request of authorizations for evaluations and services before scheduling
* Re-staffing of cases as needed
* Ensuring that therapist required hours are assigned
* Contacting parents with any case updates
* Provides weekly updates on incoming/staffed referrals
* Outreach for new referrals
* Growth of program
* Other tasks assigned
*Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:*
* Some college required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -- must be confident and assertive
* Extreme attention to detail
* Strong customer service, organization, prioritizing, time management skills
* Knowledge of MS Office -- Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Ability to meet challenging goals and deadlines
*Other Requirements:*
* Bilingual Spanish required
* Must have daily access to reliable transportation
* Must be able to work as part of a team
* Clerical duties, filing, faxing, answering phones, scheduling.
