*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a highly efficient and organized Dispatch Coordinator to join our security company.
The Dispatch Coordinator will be responsible for managing incoming calls, dispatching security personnel, and overseeing scheduling tasks.
This role requires strong technological skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and exceptional customer service and communication skills.
The Dispatch Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dispatch center.
*Responsibilities:*
* Receive and prioritize incoming calls from clients, security officers, and internal staff.
* Dispatch security personnel to client sites to cover shifts that have been abandonded
* Utilize scheduling software to create and update employee schedules, ensuring proper coverage at all times.
* Monitor and adjust schedules as needed based on staffing availability and client requirements.
* Coordinate with field supervisors and managers to ensure seamless communication and efficient deployment of personnel.
* Provide support and guidance to security personnel in the field, relaying instructions and information from management.
* Maintain accurate records of all calls, dispatches, schedules, and incidents.
* Collaborate with other departments such as operations, HR, and management to address scheduling and staffing needs.
*Qualifications:*
* Proven experience in dispatch or coordination roles, preferably in the security industry.
* Strong technological skills with proficiency in scheduling software and other relevant platforms.
* Excellent multitasking abilities and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
* Knowledge of security operations and procedures is a plus.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling and record-keeping.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in a related field is advantageous.
*Working Conditions:*
* This position operates in a fast-paced office environment.
* Shift work may be required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* May involve prolonged periods of sitting and extensive use of computer systems.
