We are hiring for the following shift: Saturday and Sunday 2:30pm to 11pm.
Starting Pay is $20+ per hour deepening upon the experience you bring.
As a Psychiatric Technician, you'll report to the Program Director, and join a team of about 10 Psychiatric Technicians and be responsible for providing rehabilitative supportive care to our client population.
You will:
Responsible for conducting client intake/discharge inventories and documenting all items in the EMR system.
Provide line-of-sight supervision to clients throughout your shift.
Provide and facilitate educational and support groups assigned and promptly document these activities in the client’s records.
Strive to increase professional growth and effectiveness by completing all required training in a timely fashion.
Provides crisis intervention services when authorized and necessary.
Maintain an active participation with the clients at all times.
Prepare and monitor medication self-administration, documenting all details in EMR.
Document clients’ daily activities, unusual behavior, and pertinent information in EMR.
Communicate with fellow Psych Techs, Therapists, Nurses, and Program Director, on an ongoing basis.

To be considered for the Psychiatric Technician opportunity, you will have:
A high school diploma or GED.
1+ years' of experience in roles involving interacting with people; experience in mental health care and/or social services is preferred.
A CNA or bachelor's degree in Psychology or another related field is a plus.
A valid California driver’s license and the ability to pass and maintain a clean driving record check (MVR) in accordance with our company standards.
A valid First Aid & CPR certification is required (or the ability to obtain it prior to hire).
Compassion and a genuine desire to work with the population served.
A collaborative, patient, and understanding approach along with a willingness to be assertive as necessary.
A track record of reliability and punctuality.
