Responsibilities:
* Provide outstanding customer service to clients seeking assistance with debt settlement inquiries and account management.
* Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently, addressing customer concerns and inquiries with empathy and understanding.
* Assist clients in navigating the debt settlement process, explaining program details, and answering questions regarding their accounts.
* Draft and prepare correspondence, including letters to creditors and debt collectors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company guidelines.
* Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and account updates in the company database.
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
* Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices related to debt settlement and customer service.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
* Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or financial services environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of debt settlement practices and regulations is a plus but not required.
