The Accounts Payable Associate role delivers front line support to Charter Impact clients and interacts with them via phone and email frequently, so an upbeat personality and customer-service oriented sense of professionalism is a must.
*This position offers workplace flexibility – candidates can work remotely with mandatory in-office time required only for initial new hire training and occasional onsite trainings, departmental meetings, and teambuilding.

*Responsibilities*
* Process invoices on a timely basis and process weekly check runs
* Verify availability of cash, perform payment selections, and determine correct general ledger accounts
* Monitor and maintain the electronic filing system for audit trail purposes
* Void checks, reissue payment, and reverse invoices as necessary
* Generate use tax reports and submit to the Accounts Payable Analyst
* Timely resolve inquiries/discrepancies from clients and multiple entities, including correspondence via email and phone
*Qualifications*
* A high school diploma and two years of related experience, or
* A bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, public administration or a related field from an accredited college or university
* Accounts payable experience is preferred
* Strong technical computer skills - proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and comfort learning software systems
* Proper and effective use of English grammar and communication skills (oral and written)
