Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant *Job Summary: *As the front desk receptionist/administrative assistant at our accounting firm, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive first impression for our clients and visitors.
You will provide essential administrative support to our team, ensuring efficient office operations.
*Duties:* * Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner * Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers * Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and faxing documents * Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly * Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and record keeping * Manage the front desk area and ensure it is clean and organized * Coordinate appointments and maintain calendars for staff members * Assist with office management duties as needed * Mail Handling, sort and distribute incoming mail and packages, and prepare outgoing mail for pickup or delivery.
* Client Inquiries, assist clients with basic inquiries, such as document drop-offs, form submissions, and general information.
* Be knowledgeable about the firm's services and be able to provide general information to clients and visitors.
*Qualifications:* * Prior experience in a similar front desk or administrative role is preferred.
* Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
* Professional and pleasant demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
* Proficiency in using standard office software (e.
g.
, Microsoft Office Suite).
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Familiarity with basic accounting and financial terminology is a plus but not always required.
