We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Order Processing and Customer Service Specialist to join our team.
As the Order Processing and Customer Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of orders, managing customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
You will be responsible for processing customer orders, handling freight logistics, following up with customers, invoicing clients, and ensuring that pricing and inventory levels are accurate.
Additionally, you will be expected to communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and provide accurate lead times to customers.
Responsibilities:
* Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Coordinate freight logistics, including scheduling shipments and tracking deliveries.
* Follow up with customers to provide order status updates and address any inquiries or concerns.
* Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
* Check pricing to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
* Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels.
* Provide accurate lead times to customers based on inventory and production schedules.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, logistics, and procurement, to ensure timely order fulfillment.
* Maintain organized records of orders, invoices, and customer communications.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in order processing, customer service, or a similar role.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with order management systems.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in freight logistics and knowledge of shipping regulations (preferred).
