Job Description
We are looking to hire a detail-oriented, computer-savvy individual for a health insurance customer service position.
The ideal candidate will need to be a quick learner, professional on the phone, and have a positive attitude.
In this role, you will interact directly with our customers to answer questions, solve problems, provide education, enroll, and renew policies and maintain our companys reputation for high-quality service.
You will need to be open to grow and learn quickly.
An insurance license will be required for this position, therefore successfully passing a background check will be a condition of employment.
On-the-job training for your role is also included.

Responsibilities
Promptly respond to all customer questions
Process policy enrollment and renewals
Utilize company policies and procedures to document important information and record notes of all customer contact in company database
Suggest insurance solutions to meet the customers specific needs
Follow company procedures for helping with customer inquiries and policies
Follow communication guidelines and policies
Foster and maintain relationships with customers
Go the extra mile to assist coworkers
Requirements
Hold or be able to obtain a California Department of Insurance Life and Health Insurance License.
Have Insurance experience.
Medicare Insurance knowledge is a plus.
3 or more year(s) of experience in customer service
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented, well organized and ability to prioritize work
Positive and service-oriented attitude
Comfortable with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Programs
Excellent phone disposition
Ability to work with minimal direction
Spanish speaking a plus but not a requirement
