*Job Description for Distributor Support Specialist:*
J Beverly Hills is hiring a Distributor Support Specialist for a Cosmetic Distribution Company in Chatsworth, CA.
The Distributor Support Specialist is responsible for providing support during the sales process and is the main point of contact for International and Domestic Distributors.
One of the main responsibilities includes processing sales orders and aiding with shipping issues.
Previous experience in a sales-related and customer service capacity is preferred.
Must work well with others but also perform efficiently by themselves.
At all times, they should conduct themselves professionally as a liaison between their organization and external customers.
Distributor Support Specialists must also be highly organized and able to multitask on several projects at a time.
*Distributor Support Specialist Tasks*
*Position Responsibilities:*
· Respond to Distributors’ inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, requests for prices, complaints and scheduling of deliveries, and providing customer follow-up
· Process new orders, returns & exchanges, etc.
in a timely and efficient manner
· Expedite required changes and appropriate solutions and follow-up to ensure resolution
· Provide quality service and interactive communication to build trust in a long-term customer relationship
· Edit and process orders received from Distributors as well as effectively communicate any changes to warehouse staff to facilitate an on-time shipment
· Expedite order processing with various departments to meet customer delivery dates
· Assist the accounting department in resolving disputes regarding invoices
· Maintain current files on product literature, pricing, deals and promotions to ensure orders contain appropriate prices and item numbers
· Successfully interact with all departments including manufacturing, inventory and shipping as well as outside Distributors
· Managing and processing high-volume orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment for Domestic & International shipments
· Superior attention to detail with the ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly and calmly
· Double check orders to ensure accuracy
*Requirements:*
· Associate degree or 1+years of related experience in customer service
· Experience in a professional customer service setting, business-to-business preferred
· Demonstrated ability to solve problems within the bounds of department policies and procedures
· Demonstrated ability to gather and assess information in a fast-paced environment
· Must be familiar with Quick books, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experienced
· Possess good communication, and writing skills, tech-savvy and strong work ethic
· Must be able to effectively communicate, be honest, punctual, and reliable
· Must be legally authorized to work in the U.
S.
