Valencia (CA), United States Automation Report Developer Overview The Professional Data Analytics provides support to extract information intelligence from various data sources, ensuring quality and usability.
What you’ll do: Design, develop, and maintain automated reports and dashboards using reporting tools like Excel, Power BI or custom solutions developed in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
Ensure that these solutions meet the business requirements and are user-friendly.
Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data from various sources into a structured format suitable for reporting.
This involves writing scripts or using ETL tools to gather data from different databases, APIs, or flat files, ensuring data is accurate and consistent.
Continuously monitor the performance of existing reports and dashboards.
Optimize queries and automate data refresh schedules to ensure reports are up-to-date and provide accurate information.
This may also involve troubleshooting and fixing any issues that arise.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and challenges.
Translate these business requirements into technical specifications and ensure the final product aligns with the expected outcomes.
Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data used in reports.
This involves setting up processes to identify and address data inconsistencies, errors, or missing information.
Create comprehensive documentation for the developed reporting solutions, including data sources, transformation logic, and usage instructions.
Train end-users on how to use the reports and dashboards effectively and assist them in understanding the data and insights.
