com/watch?v=SLGsfLIZIQs In this exciting role you will have overall responsibility for managing the software operations team and processes for root cause analysis of the customer software complaints.
You will report to our Software Engineering Manager and will play a key technical leadership role for the software and quality organization.
You will guide the successful assessment and troubleshooting of software complaints for level 2 and level 3 support and your contribution will impact patients around the world.

A Day in the Life First and foremost, contribute to the team culture with a can-do attitude.
Provide solutions and oversight to ensure that software operations programs meet agreed upon service agreement.
Propose and implement infrastructure to drive efficiency and scalability.
Propose and implement metrics and dashboards for incident monitoring and triggers across multiple products.
Drive continuous knowledge and understanding of Medtronic products and drive effective procedures for ensuring that the team is up to speed on troubleshooting and incident investigation.
Work on initiatives to drive continuously improvements in processes and procedures.
Use your leadership skills especially as it pertains to communicating effectively across a matrix using influence and cross-collaboration skills.
Provide leadership to Engineers across multiple sites, consisting of employees and contract personnel.
Follow standards defined by the Food and Drug Administration for the medical device industry.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Sciences 5+ years software engineering experience or, Master’s Degree in Engineering, Sciences 3+ years software engineering experience Nice to Have Experience in the following areas: Software operations or software complaints support teams.
Critical thinking and problem troubleshooting Managing service level agreements.
Engineering documentation.
Mobile applications and cloud software.
Metrics and dashboards.
Hypercare processes Knowledge of technology trends and domain expertise.
Self-motivated to strive for excellence.
