Duties & Responsibilities:
· Assist with perform of Audits both internal and external.
· Assist with the performance of First Articles IAW AS9102
· Conduct the calibrations for all Inspection & Test Equipment as required.
· Maintain and update all regulatory items REACH, ROHS and Conflict Minerals as required.
· Assist with the MRB Functions in accordance with posted schedules.
· Work with Purchasing, Planning/Materials, Design Engineering, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve issues.
· Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
· Assist with Failure Analysis Reports as applicable
· Assist with Root cause and corrective actions.
· Assist with the review of Quality Manual, Procedures and work instructions to maintain Quality Management System.
· Oversee the Supplier Data base to ensure all suppliers maintain the required IEE objectives for product quality and on-time-delivery.
· Performs other duties as required and as assigned.
Qualifications:
· 4 year degree is desirable but not required.
A minimum of 3 years experience as quality engineer or commensurate experience in quality assurance / control.
· Must be able to read, interpret, and execute information from part specifications, drawings, data sheets, and other component or part documentation.
· ISO9001/AS9100 experience is required.
· AS9102 First Article Inspection reporting experience required
· Must be able to understand and follow established methods and procedures.
· Computer literacy preferred (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point & Access Data base)
· Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Additional Skills:
· Familiarity with AS9100 Quality Systems is highly desirable
· Use or familiarity of AS9102 First Article Process is desirable
· Use or familiarity with INFOR Syteline or any other ERP system is helpful
· Familiarity with ITAR requirements is a plus
