Job Overview:
Responsible for the execution of business specific processes using software development lifecycle and/ project management life cycle, develop and analyze reports and day to day administrative activities as needed.
A Typical Day:
The Senior Business Analyst provides complex business analysis and modeling relative to key statistical information and business performance metrics.
As the Sr Business Analyst, you will actively participate in strategic department meetings and provide analytical insight to management to drive business strategy.
The Senior Business Analyst will:
Gather business requirements, and interpret them into practical technical solutions
Interact and coordinate with system developers and business subject matter experts on application changes, development, and deployment
Create and maintain system and user documentation
Coordinate and conduct testing
Coordinate and deliver training
Provide regular verbal and written reports to management and business community
Create and maintain project plans
Design and generate reports
Other ad-hoc assignments as assigned
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
What You’ll Bring:
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills a must
Excellent organizational skills a must
Experience with SQL
Data analysis experience a plus
Knowledge of report development (Excel and SSRS)
Experience with SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS
Experience with Tableau a plus
Must be highly proficient in Excel including creating pivots and vlookups
Experience in building stored procedures, DML, and DDL scripts
Experience in Loan Servicing and/or Loan Origination a plus
Must be a team player with strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently
Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and mathematical skills, using sound judgment
Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
Salary: $68,000 - $115,000 Work Model: OFFICE
