QA Specialist – IT Testing

As the QA Specialist, you will report to the Senior Director of Project Management and QA, and collaborate with a team of three at The Cheesecake Factory support center in Calabasas Hills, CA.
Your role will be pivotal in supporting our Information Technology department by testing system changes before their official implementation.

Responsibilities Here’s more of what you’ll get to do: Collaborate with a compact team of testers encompassing IT and diverse business domains, engaging in various project assignments.
Analyze the system requisites or modifications under development and devise comprehensive test scripts to strategize the testing phase for ongoing projects.
Execute system tests using the prepared test scripts and meticulously document the outcomes.
Conduct subsequent testing post-fix implementation to ensure accurate resolution application.
Contribute to issue resolution by conducting tests across different scenarios, thereby aiding in effective troubleshooting.
Provide support in small-scale business analysis endeavors when necessary, such as evaluating the consequences of different decisions to identify optimal pathways.
Qualifications What we require: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, demonstrating proficiency in test planning, test case design, and precise execution of tests.
Demonstrated an exceptional level of attention to detail, ensuring thoroughness in all aspects of quality assurance processes.
Profound understanding of technology and testing methodologies, enabling comprehensive comprehension and adeptness in implementing testing strategies.
Proficiency in utilizing MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), exhibiting adeptness in utilizing these tools for documentation and communication purposes.
Strong writing and communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts effectively and efficiently.
Possesses an investigative mindset, capable of delving into issues, identifying root causes, and offering innovative solutions.
Exhibits highly organized traits, maintaining structured workflows and meticulous documentation practices.
Demonstrates adaptability and the ability to maintain a fresh mindset even when handling repetitive tasks, ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout.
Proven strength in analytical thinking and sharp critical analysis.
High School Diploma or Equivalent qualification.
