A well-rounded developer who is comfortable working with business units to perform analysis, manage competing demands, design workflows, and code solutions to solve business problems to increase revenue, create efficiency and improve member experience.
Design and code solutions using Symitar, SQL, Python and similar technologies.
Build internal workflows using web application frameworks for internal customers.
Work collaboratively with many stakeholders including UX/UI, Marketing, Product Management, etc.
Determine technical feasibility and design solutions that meet software and security requirements.
Actively participate and occasionally leads in planning, design, programming, testing, documentation, and support of the new processes and enhancements.
Will be seen as a technical leader and innovator in the company and as a resource by other departments.
What You Will Do: Develop applications to help automate and streamline existing business processes.
Work on architecting and deploying new front-end features, enhancements, optimizations, APIs and backend scripting.
You will also play an integral role in orchestrating the data exchange between Symitar interfaces for internal workflows.
Build structured, reusable code and libraries for performance and scalability.
Create documentation such as design docs, workflows, and user guides.
Provide core banking application support and develop deep understanding of using solution to solve business problems.
Participate in and occasionally lead business requirement gathering, architecture design and code review sessions.
Collaborate with other business units and stakeholders.
Handle Continuous Integration deployments of code between development, staging, and production environments.
Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately.
Troubleshoot existing and new bugs as needed.
Additional duties or projects as assigned.
Requirements: What We Are Looking For: Four years to six years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
Ability to work in-office in Chatsworth, CA.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN.
Experience with SymXChange a plus.
A college degree.
Experience with API development a plus.
Experience working in a financial institution industry is a plus.
Experience with relational database design is a plus.
Experience with at least one application framework.
Knowledge of database connection and manipulation.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proven record of completing projects on-time and to specification.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The base pay range for this position is: $39 - $49 / hourly.
