Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles, Pacific Palisades campus, is seeking for the school year 2024-2025, a *Bilingual French/English Preschool-2nd grade Director*.
* Education/License/Certification:

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited or approved college or university with a major or emphasis in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
Three semester or equivalent quarter units shall be in administration (Director’s units).
· Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or a Child Development Program Director Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
· At least 4 years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center or comparable group childcare program.
· At least 3 years as an Administrator in the field or ECE/Child Development
· Proof of at least 15 hours of health and safety training.
The training may include instruction in sanitary food handling, emergency preparedness and evacuation, and caring for children with special needs…
· Pediatric First Aid, pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and at least one hour of childhood nutrition training.
* Minimum requirements:
· Bilingual capacity in English/French
· Strong commitment to working with a multicultural community.
· Strong organizational, written and communication skills in both English and French.
· Ability to work collaboratively with others and a willingness to participate fully in the team process.
· Self-directing and the ability to work independently as required.
· Proof of passing a TB test, physical examination and CCLD Live Scan fingerprinting clearance
· Must have current immunizations shots including Covid vaccine and booster.
· Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
· Physical requirements: Ability to lift a child who weighs up to 40 pounds, to hear a child calling for help, to see a child on the playground and inspect documents, to sit and stand for long periods of time, to communicate with Le Lycée staff.
· To participate in all school celebrations
· Computer skills required: Internet Software, Excel, Word, Outlook
· Must have a valid driver’s license and motor transportation.
