*THE FAMILY | *This isn't your typical nanny job.
This family is on a mission to create a home life filled with excitement, growth, and unforgettable experiences.
And they need a special nanny/family assistant to join their adventure.
They're searching for someone with ten years of experience, ideally with children in the 2 to 5 age range.
This role isn't just about providing care – it's about being a proactive partner who understands the family's needs and makes things happen seamlessly.
Imagine spending your days in a home filled with laughter, exploration, and the joy of watching children thrive.
This family values support, teamwork, and making the most of every moment.
If that sounds like your kind of adventure, they want to hear from you.
*THE DAUGHTER | *She is five years old and described as a curious child who wants to know how everything works and why.
She loves books, games, verbal puzzles, art (drawing/painting primarily) and swimming.
She tends to make a smaller number of deep friendships rather than making friends with a large number of kids.
She is extremely talkative with people she feels comfortable with and tends to warm up to adults faster than other kids on average.
She often wants to get a feel for a new situation and/or group of people before jumping in and playing.
She’ll sometimes be playful and silly with other kids or want to do her own thing independently.
She loves learning new things, but at the same time can be a bit of a perfectionist which can make her hesitant to try things if she is worried about failing.
She is currently in preschool from 8.
45 AM to 3.
00 PM.
That will change as she enters kindergarten at a new school this fall.
Sometimes, she loves being a big sister, leading her brother in play, helping take care of him, laughing together with him, and creating little games that only the two of them seem to understand.
Other times, she wants to do something separately and gets frustrated with him if he tries to get involved in whatever she’s doing.
*THE SON | *He’s two and turns three this summer.
He is a rapidly growing kid going through a lot of fun (mainly) milestones at the moment.
His language skills and physical coordination have developed a lot in the past six months, and he can now keep up with his sister roughly when she lets him play with her.
He loves hugs, music (listening, singing, dancing), and many cliched “2-year-old boy stuff” regarding trains, trucks, cranes, etc.
He seems well-inclined toward anything physical.
He’ll go through extended periods of just wanting to sit and play with Duplo, Magna tiles, or other favorite toys, unlike his sister, who is likelier to seek out an adult for conversation and play if nothing is happening.
He still naps occasionally, from around 1 PM to 2:30/3 PM.
Eventually, he will drop naps.
He is currently at preschool from 8.
45 AM to 12.
00 PM, though starting in the summer, he’ll be in school for full days from 8.
45 AM to 3.
00 PM.
He has allergies to live oak and dust mites, though he has never had any reaction associated with them.
He has moderate eczema and uses a prescription cream for it.
His skin needs to be moisturized to keep the eczema under control.
*THE PARENTING PHILOSOPHY | *The parents consider their parenting style as authoritative and resonate with lighthouse parenting.
They generally believe in setting well-defined, consistent boundaries for their children to thrive.
They find that setting a boundary and explaining the intent and reasoning behind something works best.
They believe in encouraging their kids to try and allow them to make mistakes whenever possible so they can grow and learn from real experiences.
It’s important for the kids to identify and express their emotions and feel comfortable opening up about them.
The family values open, honest communication.
They want to raise their kids to be confident in who they are and be assertive and expressive with others.
