antique vintage 1956 Singer sewing machine (no table) - model 99K - $70 (West Hills)

Here is an antique 1956 Singer sewing machine made in the Clydebank, Scotland (Great Britain) factory.
If you need a table, I have one that needs some touching up.
The Singer sewing machine model 99K, black with gold pin-striping, looks and runs great.
Well, let me rephrase.
I plugged it in and the foot pedal (in the bag) worked as the needle went up and down.
It sounded great unlike another one I used to have.
The light (in the bag) didn't work and is missing the screw to attach it to the body.
Surely, I have a screw somewhere that will work.
Not sure what else to look for but I have this sinking feeling it needs something.
I'd comfortably guess something minor since the needle goes up and down with ease (perhaps my sister can fix it next time she's in town).
I found a belt to temporarily use.
It's on its last legs so plan on getting a new belt.
