This is a vintage Hunter industrial fan, circa likely early 1950's.
This is a rare 30-inch version, very hard to find.
It's quite heavy and stands about 6-feet tall.
The art deco base is solid cast iron and the adjustable riser is all steel.
I've been using this as a shop fan for years.
One day last year it stopped running.
The power cord was very old and cracked so I cut it off but never got around to installing a new one.
I think the motor needs to be rebuilt.
It originally had a 2-speed switch but a previous owner removed that and ran it on high all the time.
There are videos online that show how to wire up a new switch if you want it.
I have too many projects so this one needs to go.
It's a very cool, rare old fan that blows a LOT of air.
$60 and it's yours.
