Antique table, side table, refectory desk.
Our understanding is that it is from around 1750 and made in France.
Appears to be made of actual French Oak as the grain patterns are very heavy and matches very old French oak pieces and reclaimed woods from barns, etc.
The only tables we have ever seen like this, with these carved legs matches, are ones found in France from around 1700-1800.
That includes the heavy and wavy patterns in the oak.
Stunning character, quite large and heavy.
It is currently undergoing some protective work to maintain it "as is".
Using NO stains or finishes as the current finish is genuine.
It is VERY solid.
Each drawer weighs quite a bit.
It appears to have hand forged nails and other hardware that were hammered in then folded into place.
A pre World War 2 ocean shipping label inside when it was moved here from France around 1938.

I can help deliver it in my vehicle if needed.
The expanding table and chairs are separate.
We have them up for $1,500 Or Best Offer but will include them for $500 with the French oak table as the heavy three board pattern seems to compliment each other.
