Two 1850s Copper Coat Of Arms Shields Wall Hangings.
These are wonderful coat of arms (family crest) circa 1850.
The sales receipt indicates that these were found in val-de-loire France.
Circa 1850.
I tried to do more of my own research into the family coat of arms (crest) and motto.
I did find something very similar that was indicated as the family crest of Vernon-Wentworth of Wentworth Castle 1795-1885.
Wentworth Castle is the home of the Earls of Strafford in South Yorkshire.
I have attached screenshots of all of this.
A piece of history that are over a 170 years old.
Great patina.
They are in good condition for the age.
There have been some repairs made over the years.
