Each block measures 2 3/4 inches and features Americana-style designs, hand-painted for a unique look.

Here we have a rare and hard to find set of "All Seasons Blocks" from Wolf Creek, hand made in Eldora, Iowa, is a great example of post-1940 folk art.
Not only do they represent a fun way to create messages for all occasions, but also are an example of wood folk art with wood originally made to have a distressed look to them.
Sixteen blocks in total provide all characters of the alphabet, the most popular ones more than once.
And then there are six symbols as well, including a flower bouquet, lucky clover, American flag, heart, pineapple, and Christmas tree.
The set is "designed to spell a multitude of expressions.
Over 80 examples are listed" on the chart that comes with the pieces, with suggested messages for each month, like Happy Halloween for October, or Praise the Lord for April or Happy Chanukah for December.
To spell any of the examples, you simply select blocks according to the number listed below each letter.
Then position each block to show the desired character.
