The duties for the Information Technology Coordinator position include: Responsible for all aspects of the procurement process for technology-related hardware and software.
These responsibilities include: o Accepting requests from faculty and staff, fulfilling those requests if items are in stock or ordering items if needed.
o When hardware or software needs to be ordered, negotiate with existing vendors and/or source new vendors in order to request a quote.
o Obtain necessary approvals and place purchase orders with various vendors.
Maintain updated W9 forms, certificates of insurance (COI), and worker’s compensation certificates for all new and current vendors, as applicable.
In collaboration with the business office, complete credit applications and hardware audits Maintain and renew software licensing (ex: Canvas, Zoom, Turnitin.
com etc.
), web domains (including SSL certs), annual subscriptions (ex: LinkedIn, BrainPOP etc.
), and service contracts (ex: networking hardware, printers etc.
) for both campuses.
Utilize inventory management systems to ensure that devices and equipment are logged and tracked following issuance to employees and students.
Ensure all invoices (monthly/ for purchases) are paid in a timely manner and monitor department budget to stay within limits.
Process reimbursements for purchases made for the department by IT members.
Ensure that regularly used items remain stocked (replacement lamps for projectors, mice, clickers, HDMI cables etc.
) Assist in the creation and maintenance of various network user accounts including HW network and various 3rd party vendor subscriptions.
As base responsibilities are fulfilled, assist in general tech support activities with the Tech Services team.
Coordinate device upgrade/distribution events (ex: laptop rollouts, AV equipment upgrades etc.
), department holiday lunches, schedule technician repairs for IT hardware and any on-site training events for IT.
Schedule E-Waste pick for both campuses when students are off campus, maintain equipment and supply inventory to ensure adequate stock on hand.
Other administrative and departmental support responsibilities as assigned by the Director of IT Qualifications/Qualities The successful candidate will have the following background and characteristics: Experience with technology-related procurement, including quotes, purchase orders, receiving documentation and inventory.
Familiar with procurement contract terms and conditions.
Excellent communication skills Highly organized A technology-related college degree is a plus.
Strong Educational Technology experience is a bonus.
Some technical aptitude Proficient with Windows apps such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Acrobat as well as Google’s G-Suite.
Familiarity with Instructure Canvas or similar learning management systems is a plus.
Should be a self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility.
Ability to radiate calm.

Compensation: This is a non-exempt role.
Estimated base compensation is $30.
00-$37.
50 per hour plus overtime (as applicable), depending on experience.
