The Senior Project Controller position is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join the new PM Group Southern California team located out of Thousand Oaks.
The role entails overall responsibility for scheduling and cost management on engineering design projects.
The role also includes setting up and rolling out processes and procedures to manage project costs and schedules compliant with PM Group requirements.
Our office will be executing cutting-edge projects for national and international life sciences clients.
Proven project delivery experience in the life sciences industry is required (biopharma / cell & gene therapy / pharmaceutical).

: Develop & manage project schedules for medium and large capex pharma projects (experience with MS Project & Primavera required) Communicate with project management team and provide regular schedule performance status reports Provide input to project reviews Track project service hours including spent, planned and forecast hours (earned value management),and identify variances and create corrective action plans Help prepare capital cost estimates for projects Conduct project services delivery change control and capital expenditure cost, and status reporting Participate in project risk management reviews Support commercial preparation of PM Group project bid and tenders for services Produce data analytics to support project delivery and business operations Support the office annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes : Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, or a related technical field.
If no degree, relevant work experience will be considered Minimum of 4-6 years’ relevant experience Experience of cost management on projects $20M+ Consistent track record of providing project financial (cost) and scheduling oversight Strong communication and facilitation skills at all levels Proven knowledge of best practice analytical concepts and reporting with an emphasis on project revenue recognition, profit reporting, performance measurement and cost control Ability to build internal business relationships and ensure that all business decisions are made in alignment with sound financial and data analytics Experience meeting tight deadlines with good attention to detail and a focus on getting the work done well Strong working knowledge of MS Office including intermediate to advanced level skills (Good Excel skills required) Experience with Primavera is required Previous experience of Agresso Business World is an advantage All of your information is confidential according to EEO guidelines.

Additional Information The pay range for a candidate selected for this position is typically $115,000 to $145,000 annually.
