Smith ** I'm really happy with my decision to go here.
I inherited a coin collection from my uncle and didn't know what I had.
I went with Estate Coins because the owner Ken said that he would go over every coin to see if I had any treasures.
He even met me in his office on a Sunday! They have a nice setup there - very comfy and Ken and his wife wore masks and had sanitizer, etc available.
Because of the amount of coins, it took over 3 hours to go through it all.
Ken entered everything into the computer and took the time to show me what everything was worth.
Most of it was silver dollars, half dollars, lots of quarters and some dimes.
Also a $500 dollar bill and some proof sets and some other misc stuff.
The proof sets were not worth much and most of the silver coins were just common or worn.
But he did find some treasures! He graded the $500 bill as CU63 (pretty good unused) and said it was worth $2400! I also had some cc mint dollars, one of which was worth $4000 and the others were all well over $100 to $600.
He also found 11 1932d quarters (all worth over $100 each) and a 1938d half worth $300.
Many of the silver dollars were in nice condition too and Ken paid a lot more for those.
He even valued the common or bad looking ones for more than silver.
I had a feeling my uncle had some nice stuff.
I'm so glad I didn't go to one of those places that just pay for the silver value.
I walked out with a big fat check and a smile on my face.

** Ken was extremely knowledgeable about the coins my father kept over the years.
Ken's business is coins and their value, while you might google the value of some of your coins, unfortunately the internet can be misleading in what the true values of coins actually are.
