Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential settings
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring and components
- Perform frame carpentry work to install electrical boxes, outlets, switches, and fixtures
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure proper integration of electrical systems
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with high voltage equipment
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician in a similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of frame carpentry techniques for electrical installations
- Familiarity with high & low voltage systems and safety procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and make accurate repairs or replacements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
