POSITION PURPOSE
Induction Brazer reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for brazing, assembling, cleaning, joining and inspecting parts, using appropriate tools and equipment, in an industrial setting.
The position works under close supervision, limited decision-making and limited contact with external suppliers or customers.
Essential Functions
Communicates information to others about project status, updates, specific instructions, etc.
•Completes necessary paperwork and computer entries accurately and in a timely manner.
•Obtains certifications in order to perform necessary processes.
•Adjusts electrical current for type and thickness of metal, as computed from data charts.
•Adjusts and records parameters to comply with process limits.
•Verifies the calibration of equipment and expiration dates.
•Uses limited troubleshooting and problem solving.
•Cleans, assembles, joins and inspects parts per applicable work instructions; and conducts tests and inspections by following applicable work instructions.
•May anneal or heat process parts when equipment is shared for furnace brazing operations.
