The Chocolate Production Associate must also possess a great deal of flexibility in their ability to multi-task and maintain a team attitude in all actions taken.
*Essential Task, Duties and Responsibilities* · Prepping: Cook and Pre-weigh syrups for coating process, add bulk ingredients to bulk tank by hand · Coating: Read recipe and add ingredients to mixer(panner) by hand · Inspect product for color, shape, and size issues during process and final product.
· Packaging: Operate all packaging equipment to ensure product meets customer standards and complete all required paperwork and checks.
· Sanitation: Utilize correct cleaning procedures to complete production and non-production cleaning responsibilities.
Set up, tear down, and clean tanks, pipes, pumps, and plates.
· Move ingredients in and out of racking, utilizing inventory management system, to achieve proper product rotation procedures.
· Maintain proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to earplugs, glasses, coats, hairnets, face masks *Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* * Must be age 21 or over - California residency with valid ID is required * 1+ year of Chocolate(Panning) experience desired * Experienced with working with chocolates or similar product strongly preferred * The ability to consistently lift up to 55 pounds.
* Stand and walk for entire shift.
* Work with allergens, such as wheat, milk, etc.
* Positive, can-do attitude and flexibility to perform a variety of tasks.
* Accuracy and attention to detail * Demonstrate range-of-motion, strength, and physical stamina needed to safely perform the job in fast-paced work environment.
* Remain alert to safety hazards, maintain attention to stay on task, manage time effectively, and work independently and in a team to complete assigned tasks.
