Reputable Finish Carpentry and Design company seeks experienced Account Manager for immediate hire! This position is for full-time work for the right candidates.
We are looking for self-starters and team players who can work alongside our office staff!
*Responsibilities: *
* Track project billing due dates and send invoices accordingly
* Follow up on outstanding accounts and ensure timely payment
* Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues or concerns
* Request preliminary notice information from clients as needed.
* Prepare and send preliminary notices for each new project.
* Prepare and distribute monthly accounting reports per project
* Manage insurance renewals (GL, WC, Auto, Excess, EPLI and Health) and distribute COIs to clients as needed.
* Send monthly billing statements at the beginning of each month
* Sign and send unconditional lien waivers when payments are received
* Keep Schedule of Values for each project updated
* Send Intents to lien and file liens when necessary
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* PC literacy (MS Office, Excel in particular & Google products)
* 2-5 years of work experience in construction billing/receivables
* Excellent organizational skills and Attention to Detail
* General knowledge of how to use QuickBooks
* Strong communications and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
The ideal candidate will have a background in billing or accounting, with a focus on customer service.
A high level of professionalism is essential in order to maintain positive relationships with customers.
