*Job Description*
Hampton Tedder Electric is looking for an organized Construction Coordinator to join the team.
You will support field and office administrative personnel as business needs dictate by providing a variety of support tasks including, but not limited to, following up on pending items, gathering information to support operations, and/or relaying concerns to supervising manager(s).
You will be expected to protect and update files as well as make them easily accessible to your colleagues.
A Construction Coordinator must be organized and possess a serious understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in computers and detail oriented.

*Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:*
· Communicate with internal office and field staff as well as external agencies to provide necessary support.
· Coordinate and attend internal and external office meetings as necessary.
· Receive items from various office and/or field staff, and process and/or distribute the information as necessary.
· Organize and update physical and electronic copies of work orders as dictated by company policies and procedures.
· Schedule work orders in accordance with direction of field managers and quickly resolve scheduling conflicts.
· Receive and interpret data related to work orders and process/distribute to office or field staff accordingly.
· Operate a variety of office equipment.
· Position may require an element of travelling between Moorpark and Ventura.
· Position requires ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching above shoulder level, climbing stairs, pulling, and prolonged standing and/or sitting.
*Skills:*
· Proficient knowledge of MS Office and office equipment such as photocopier, scanner etc.
· Dependable with respect to confidentiality and policies.
· Proficiency in reading/interpreting work order related materials such as various maps, environmental regulations, and/or photos.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Great attention to detail.
· Ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
· Reliable with a strong work ethic.
· High school degree or equivalent.
· Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
