We are seeking a versatile and experienced Manufacturing Operator to join our growing team in the cannabis industry.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate operations of our cannabis processing and packaging activities.
*Operator Responsibilities:*
* Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with established guidelines and procedures
* Prepare materials and supplies for processing and packaging, such as containers, labels, and packaging components
* Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, and resolve any issues that arise
* Record and maintain accurate records of operations, including quantities, weights, and product codes
* Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to resolve any operational issues or concerns
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment, supplies, and finished products
* Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and personal protective equipment
* Perform other related duties as required, such as assisting with production, labeling, and packaging
*Operator Requirements:*
* High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
* 1+ years of experience in a processing or production environment
* Knowledge of equipment and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
* Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
* Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs.
