What the heck is this? If you squeeze the long cylinder silver rod, to the left, .
.
.
on the outer right side between the corner screw and top middle screw protrudes a spikey metal thing.
It could probably puncture a piece of paper, etc.
You can barely tell that it's there in the photo.
At the bottom right corner on the side.
.
.
is a similar one that also works off the cylinder rod.
If you pull the small metal silver square in the middle, it looks like on the inside on the far right in the middle.
.
.
where that dash mark is.
.
.
it appears some clasps separate from the slot.
When released it would be like locking two clasps onto a screwdriver.
Thus, someone thinks this is like a fancy screwdriver for an airplane.
.
.
to avoid overtightening.
For a back-in-the-day top secret Lockheed plane? (waits for laughing on the above mentioned hypothesis) Either way, it's obviously for a specific purpose.
I'm thinking it could latch onto a slotted screw and the rod squeezed to score a perfect circle.
But it seems like that's just not quite right cuz that may not work well.
Could it be a control arm to cut and/or release the wires on a controlled line RC airplane so it would go flying on it's own? Oh well, that's all I got for ideas at the moment.
Good luck.
Feel free to make an offer on this item.
Suggestions so far: 1) It looks like a speed handle or a parachute pull.
2) Someone said I should post this on some whatisthisthing Reddit forum, but come on, we need Craigslist to be a good alternative sometimes :)
