Internship Overview: Commercial Excellence / Sales Operations Intern
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical individual to join our team as a Commercial Excellence Intern.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and process improvement within a fast-paced pharmaceutical sales environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a background in data analysis, a keen interest in process optimization, and some knowledge of the healthcare landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Intelligence / Data Analytics:
Analyze data from various platforms and systems to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
Evaluate existing reporting systems and processes for field operations, executive business units (EBU), home office, executive leadership team (ELT), and investors.
Provide an external perspective on current data practices and suggest improvements.
Present findings and recommendations in a comprehensive report, including proposals for programming solutions.
Process Improvement:
Build a simplified process map of MannKind Cares / Afrezza Assist.
Identify bottlenecks and select the best KPIs to help our team best assess the process moving forwards.
Improve on the current process map of our backend hub- recommend short-term and long-term solutions to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Deliver a final project presentation to our Commercial Leadership Team on your recommendations and a high-level action plan.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in business administration, Analytics, Operations, Healthcare, or related field.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
Familiarity with data management practices is desirable.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical sales operations and/or the healthcare industry is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
