Location – Northridge, CA – the role will be expected to be office-based throughout the probationary period in order to learn the systems and processes and interact with and learn from colleagues more efficiently.
Following successful completion of probation, flexible working arrangements with a mix of office and home working will be available.
Some travel within the USA and Latin America to support customer visits and events will be required.

TSL Professional Products Ltd is a company that designs, manufacturers, markets and sells sophisticated electronic equipment and software solutions to broadcast and other industry end-customers worldwide.
With facilities in Marlow, UK and Northridge, California it is well placed to serve the main geographical markets.
TSL is restructuring its global team to target and take advantage of opportunities for growth in new and existing markets with changes to the sales team to bring more key account and channel partner management ‘in house’ and bolstering the sales team with more ‘hunter’ resources to grow new business.
In turn, this all driven by a strategy to improve productivity across the global business and this role has the opportunity to participate in, influence and drive improvements and changes in the business in support of this goal.
Key Responsibilities
Take on primary point of contact responsibility for certain channel partners and key accounts in the Americas, maintaining regular contact and both proactively generating new opportunities with the support of product management and pre-sales engineering resources and reactively supporting those accounts with new enquiries.
Acting as lead contact for the Latin American market customers and drive sales growth in that market.
Proactively drive new business in pursuit of targets from both new opportunities with existing customers, new customers and improved upselling across all 3 product lines.
Support 2 x Americas Sales personnel with quote creation (Products and Services) and CRM data entry and maintenance.
Support the Sales Order process in the Americas acting as a liaison between customers and RSMs and the product teams, support teams and local finance and operations.
Support Americas credit control, including the collection, recording and management of advance deposits and stage payments.
Provide regular updates to the Head of Global Sales, CFO & CEO regarding sales order entry, sales backlog, invoiced sales and credit control each month.
Opportunity to gain technical product knowledge to be able to handle tier 1 support queries and to help consultative sales efforts.

Fluent English & Spanish
Customer sales & quote experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in CRMs applications.
Detail oriented, high level of accuracy, well organised, PC literate
Able to work on own initiative and as part of a cross-functional team

Driven to learn and continuously improve
Excellent communicator, well presented, able to communicate to all levels in an organisation

Desirable
Broadcast, ProAV or related industry technology knowledge and experience
