Hello! I'm looking for a roommate in North Hollywood to move in for May 1st.
Ideally looking for a writer or filmmaker of some sort, but ultimately the is L.
A.
, so someone who can pay the rent and keep the common area somewhat clean is pretty okay in my book.
Bonus points if you're looking to stay for a long time.
ABOUT THE APARTMENT: It's a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment around Oxnard and Lankershim.
Basically you get your own bathroom.
It's tandem off street parking meaning we park each other in but it's not that bad once you get used to it.
If you don't have a car or just like walking around it's pretty close to the NoHo arts district and a 15 minute walk to the red line metro station.
Your share of rent would be $1,087 a month plus utilities.
With utilities I'd say a safe bet would be looking at around $1,300 a month.
If interested you'd have to fill out an application and submit it to the building's manager.
There is a fee and I think it's $50 but I'm not entirely sure as I moved in about 6 years ago and I'm not sure what's changed.
To move in you'd need 1st month plus a security deposit.
