Laser Engraver Operator (canoga park)

Seeking experienced Laser Engraver Operator for both CO2 and Fiber Optic Laser Engravers to engrave on metal and acrylic writing pens.
Willing to consider various levels of previous experience, such as from retail engraving experience, for example working at Things Remembered.
And willing to consider those who wish to work only part-time.
Responsibilities include: - Operates laser engraving machines to transfer computer generated graphics to pens - Positions and secures blank pens in laser machines - Maintains high quality standards by examining each engraved product - Use color filling techniques for some jobs - Sets controls to attain correct specifications including height, depth, and width - Cuts product templates as required - Cleans and maintains work area and equipment Knowledge and Skill Requirements: - Basic active listening skills, reading comprehension, and arithmetic skills - Manual dexterity required for operating machinery, tools and accessories - Basic understanding of using a caliper - Close attention to detail required - Organizational and time management skills required - Knowledge of LightBurn and/or Illustrator software a PLUS - Willingness to learn new software - Commitment to producing high-quality work with precision and accuracy Yafa Brands, an international manufacturer of writing instruments, has been in business for over 45 years.
