Simi Valley-based band startup, in 45-60+ age group, seeks bassist to complete the group for no-pressure non-pro cover group for fun and playing out maybe 1 - 2 times per month.
All the better if you have a little bar/club/party experience, no matter how small.
Old Blues (Albert King, Elmore James, Muddy Waters, B.

King, etc.
), Classic Rock (Allman Bros, Hendrix, Clapton, Stones, CCR, Yardbirds, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, Doors, etc.
), Surf (Ventures, etc.
), 60's Garage Rock/Psychedelic, etc.
Possibly also more modern material, if it fits the mood of the gig.
So far on board we have two guitarists, a drummer, and a vocalist.
Focus is on easy tunes/having fun/entertaining our peeps, etc.
Practice is currently in Northridge in a fully equipped hourly rental studio (near Guitar Center), until we find a more Simi-centric location.
We're aiming to get together around April 12, from 7-9pm.
