Summary
The Weigh Master is responsible for all facets of the operations of a truck weighing process.
The duties include, but are not limited to, weighing trucks, recording all information in a computerized weighing system, running reports, and filing.
Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all inbound and outbound scale transactions.
Job Description
Inspect paperwork and loads for inbound and outbound trucks.
Enter all information into computer.
Complete daily reports, maintain logs, spreadsheets and other reports, as assigned.
Monitors and records vehicle gross, tare and net weights.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent required.
Associates degree preferred.
Four years’ experience working with computerized scale systems and other similar software and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience working with computerized scale systems and other similar software and equipment.
Communication skills to be able to deal with a wide range of customers, vendors, and co-workers.
Ability to work independently in a safe and efficient manner and to follow safety policies and procedures.

Physical:
Sitting, seeing, hearing, & smelling continuously.
Problem solving, oral/written communication, analytical ability, calculating, concentration, & interpersonal abilities continuously.
Eye/hand coordination, fingering (typing), handling, & wrist motion continuously.
Bending, reaching, stretching, standing, & walking occasionally.
Environmental:
Exposure to dust, smoke, fumes, odors, & noise continuously.
Exposure to grease, oil, chemicals, & wet conditions occasionally.
Works inside only.
Position considered office only.
Salary: $20.
30 - $23.
