Santa Clarita Dialysis LLC has an opening for a Front Office Administrator Assistant—Medical Assistant (willing to train).

The MA is the face and voice of our company and will play an essential role in our mission to provide patients with top-tier office experience.
As an integral team member, the MA will work closely with administrative staff, NPs, PAs, doctors, and patients and families to improve the patient's quality of life.
The MA will perform administrative-related duties professionally while carrying out responsibilities in the clinic (front/back office), billing, scheduling, filing medical records, filing reports, data entry, and substantial patient interaction.

*Skills:*
· Strong patient care skills, including providing compassionate care and communicating effectively with patients of all ages.
· ability to accurately perform and record vital signs.
· Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
· Proficiency in medication administration techniques.
· Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, such as managing electronic health records and scheduling appointments.
· Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
· ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and other healthcare team members.
*Responsibilities*
· Supports strategic initiatives and maintains a high standard of customer service.
Customer Service is paramount! Able to politely greet patients upon arrival/dismissal.
· Provide Patient Education.
· Answering Telephones and checking voicemail daily.
· Follow-up on no-shows/cancellation of Appointments.
· Collect the insurance information from patients.
· Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance forms.
· Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection.
· Maintain Medical records (Chart Filling, Data entry, and medical record reviews/audits)
· Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and assisting with examinations.
Assist with minor procedures and treatments.
· Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment.
· Perform Billing audits.
· Other duties may be as assigned by the supervisor.
