*Position Overview:*
*Essential Job Functions*
* Answer telephones, and direct calls to appropriate staff.
* Greet visitors, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff.
* Operate office equipment such as voice mail messaging systems, use spreadsheet for patient balances, and collect & document payments from patients as per clinic protocol.
* Complete insurance and other claim forms.
* Interview patients to complete documents, case histories, and forms such as intake and insurance forms.
* Receive and route messages and documents to appropriate staff.
* Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence.
* Transmit correspondence and medical records by mail, e-mail, or fax.
* Maintain medical records, technical library and correspondence files.
* Create Monthly Patient Cards in a Timely Manner and put patient information in the computer.
* Check messages every morning and submit them to the manager
* Prepare all mandated reports, documentation, and other requirements, in a timely fashion.
· Knows and follow protocol for U/A’s (including entering in the computer)
· Assist in other non-assigned duties.
