Provides individual and group therapy, supportive counseling, and crisis intervention.
Services are conducted both in the field and the office as appropriate.
Conduct intake evaluations.
Provide rehabilitative and targeted case management services.
Provide Officer of the Day (O.
D.
) coverage for crisis and walk-in clients as scheduled and to screen clients for intake appointments and/or referrals.
Complete all required documentation, report writing and correspondence within mandated time frames.
Provide all case management services to assigned clients as needed.
Work established hours for program.
Work collaboratively with members of the multi-disciplinary treatment team as well as other managers and clinicians of the Center for Family Living Program.
Provide consultation and education to the community as needed.
Maintain valid California Drivers License and Valid insurance.
Submit weekly schedule of client appointments.
The ideal candidate must have a master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field – BBS licensed eligible required.
Current NPI number.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a mental health setting.
Community mental health experience desirable.
Experience with the severely, mentally ill desirable.
Strong motivation to learn, particularly short-term individual and group therapy skills.
Capacity for self-examination, self-disclosure, and ability to empathize are essential.
Be able and willing to work one evening per week.
