Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the café, including kitchen and front-of-house activities
- Supervise and train café staff, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to company standards
- Manage shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Assist in food production and preparation as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including dining area, kitchen, and restrooms
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary
- Collaborate with the assistant manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Coordinate catering and banquet events, ensuring seamless execution
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or café setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in POS systems and basic computer skills
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods
