Civil Litigation Attorney

We are a Civil Litigation Law Firm seeking an attorney to draft and respond to discovery and motions, take and defend depositions, perform legal research and possess strong analytical skills.
Experience in civil litigation is preferred.
Firm will provide training.

Duties & Responsibilities: Civil Litigation experience preferred, but willing to train High volume, motion and pre-trial work from depositions to Motions and all Trial preparation in between.
Drafting and responding to all legal documents, meet and confers, etc.
(ex.
Discovery, motions) Attending hearings and taking and defending depositions Ability to handle cases with limited supervision Keeping track of calendar/tasks Meeting deadlines Client and attorney communications Management of report and client information in case management system Comply with all legal standards and regulations, specifically the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Qualifications: Licensed in CA.
Knowledge of civil litigation procedures.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work independently and in a team environment.
Familiarity with basic state and federal collection laws, including the FDCPA is a plus.
Must be in good standing with the AB
