Children's Circle is a child-led, play based Nursery School serving children ages 2-6.
We have been open and operating for almost 50 years.
We believe that play is a child's most important work and strive to create an enviorment where children are stimulated and challenged to become their best selves.
Empathy, relationship, and social and emotional growth are the cornerstones of our school.
We are looking for teachers who can collaborate, work as a team and nurture young children.
Responsibilities: - Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students - Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment - Provide early intervention and support for students who may be struggling academically or behaviorally - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for students - Use various teaching methods and resources to engage students in the learning process - Assess student progress and provide feedback on their developmental status - Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to update them on their child's progress Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues - Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive environment - Knowledge of early intervention strategies to support students with diverse learning needs - Experience working with preschool-aged children, understanding their developmental needs and implementing age-appropriate activities - Ability to provide additional support to students who require extra assistance - Familiarity with child welfare policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students - Experience working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding - Effective behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors in the classroom Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
