Momentum is hiring a Fleet Driver/Transporter for our greater Los Angeles area, including the San Fernando Valley and Thousand Oaks.
As the Fleet Driver/Transporter, you will be responsible for providing transportation to people supported at Momentum, the upkeep of company vehicles, vehicle inspections and safety checks.
The Fleet Driver/Transporter will be the main source of transportation for Momentum's people supported to and from day programs, appointments, and community outings.

Fleet Driver/Transporter Essential Responsibilities:
Ensures safe operation of the residential transportation vehicles
Ensures the safe and timely pick up and drop off of people supported and staff
Safely operates vehicles on surface streets, freeways, highways, and interstates in compliance with DMV and Highway Patrol protocols
Operates vehicle lift for people supported in a safe manner and ensures wheelchairs are secured properly
Follows transportation schedule
Transports and delivers equipment and supplies between locations, as needed
Keeps van interior/exterior neat and clean
Completes and maintains required vehicle documentation
Follows company policies regarding safe and proper use of lift and transfer of persons supported
Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and/or business needs
Fleet Driver/Transporter Qualifications:
Must be 25 years of age or older
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent; required
Current California Driver License; required
Current and valid proof of automobile insurance; required
Minimum of two (2) years of related experience; required
Clean driving record with DMV driver's record printout; required
Communicate and work professionally and cooperatively with others
Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, health screening, TB screening and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds
