Position Overview: Simply Salad is looking for a rockstar Driver responsible for transporting fresh greens and other prepared products from our commissary facility to our local restaurants.
You will serve as a key member of the supply chain team and provide valuable input as we scale our organization.
This position will report to the Commissary Manager and will collaborate closely with restaurant leadership and the commissary team.
This position is commissary-based and candidates must have the ability to flex with business needs, which can include weekends, early mornings, holidays & additional days.
What You’ll Do: - Hours for this position are Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8 pm to 2 am.
- Organize product by restaurant location onto pallets and load into our delivery truck with the help of the Logistics Associate.
- Load product off the truck and into the restaurants.
Stock and organize products on shelves and in refrigeration.
- Transport product from the commissary facility in Van Nuys to all five restaurant locations in the Los Angeles area.
- Assist to maintain the warehouse in an organized fashion, including sorting and labeling.
- Ensuring product quality and reporting progress/issues with the Commissary Manager.
- Assist with all areas of the commissary including receiving inventory and preparing products for shipment.
- Monitor inventory levels at the restaurants and inform Commissary and Restaurant Managers when the product is low.
- Communicate with store leaders what goods will be delivered to their restaurants and assist them with any of their product needs.
- Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road.
- Ensure the truck is fueled and maintained for delivery.
Schedule maintenance when needed.
- Acts as a role model & brand ambassador for the company.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to accept constructive feedback & to work collaboratively with Commissary Manager to identify & facilitate needed process improvements.
- Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other food commissary guidelines.
The Basics: - High school diploma or equivalent required, including strong verbal, written & math skills - Previous delivery experience required - Valid driver license and a clean driving record - Valid food handler’s certification (can be attained easily).
